What benefits do we offer?

Entry level pay starts at $57,754/year. With satisfactory performance, the salary incrementally increases to about $80,000/year over the first 4 years. Interns earn $23.90/hour and usually work 40 hours/week.

Also, we have a 401k retirement savings plan in which we contribute up to 7% of your salary depending on your contributions, and we have a retirement health care savings account in which we add 2% of your salary. If you are interested in obtaining your CPA license and other applicable certificates, we provide financial and other assistance, including paid time off to take the examination.

The OAG offers flexible and hybrid work schedules, business appropriate dress code, and a full range of continuing professional education opportunities designed to improve and maintain your knowledge and skills.

Mentoring Program
We have a mentoring program specifically designed for entry level employees, including group and individual mentoring sessions, defined competencies, and a performance tracking mechanism.  You will receive feedback approximately every 2 months your first year and at the end of each audit thereafter.  There are continued formal and informal mentoring opportunities throughout your career with the OAG.

Travel
Travel, primarily within the beautiful State of Michigan, is a condition of employment. Travel could average between 10% - 15% of your time.

Work-Life Balance
We respect the need for a work-life balance and as such strive to maintain reasonable working hours. If overtime is necessary to complete an audit, we offer additional pay or additional vacation time known as compensatory time.
