Kimberly E. Jacobs, CPA, CISA
Chief Information Officer
Kimberly E. Jacobs, CPA, CISA, became Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the Office of the Auditor General (OAG) effective February 1, 2003.
Mrs. Jacobs is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Office of Information Technology (OIT). OIT provides information technology support to the OAG in the form of managing the information systems network, maintaining and operating a management information system, providing computer support, and extracting and manipulating automated information for audits.
Prior to her appointment as CIO, Mrs. Jacobs was the manager of the Local Area Network and Computer Support Section.
Mrs. Jacobs is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Information Systems Audit and Control Association.
Mrs. Jacobs has served on the board of the West Michigan Information Systems Audit and Control Association.
Mrs. Jacobs graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting information systems.
