Description of Agency

The Bureau of Branch Office Services is responsible for providing driver’s licensing, vehicle titling and registration, and voter registration services to the citizens of Michigan. The Bureau operates a network of 131 branch offices and one mobile branch office that processed a total of 13.4 million transactions during fiscal year 2015. Bureau expenditures for fiscal year 2015 totaled $84.6 million.

  1. To assess the effectiveness of the Bureau’s efforts to provide efficient and convenient customer service at its branch offices.

  2. To assess the effectiveness of the Bureau’s efforts to provide employee and customer safety.

  3. To assess the effectiveness of the Bureau’s establishment of controls to properly safeguard assets.
